About Maria
I am currently in my 5th year teaching. I strongly believe every child is capable of achieving their goals when they are provided with the proper resources. I implement instructional plans, drive students’ reading comprehension and language skills through shared and guided reading and classroom discussion, and conduct individual testing to determine student progress. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in History Education and my Master's degree in Psychology. I am also a licensed Behavioral Therapist.

My aim as an educator and tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in their school work and providing them with the proper resources to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. I believe passionately in the huge value of tutoring to students and take great satisfaction in seeing my students achieve their full potential.
