About Amanda (Mandy)
I have always wanted to be a teacher. When I was in the second grade, I thought my teachers were the very best teachers ever! I wanted to be just like them. My TWIN sister and I both got our degrees in teaching. I also got my Masters and was an assistant principal and principal as well! I promise that I have never met a child that didn't like me. Almost every child I have dealt with in 23 years, still call and text me!
It is very hard to go to school when you feel like you can't learn like other students do. BUT YOU CAN I promise, together we can help you learn a ton of really exciting stuff!!

I am passionate about helping children who struggle when it comes to language arts. I quickly bond with my students and use my skills as life long learner to help your child not only learn language arts, but LOVE it. I work from home and can work with any schedule. I am certified to teach first to eighth grade, but I especially love teaching elementary students.
So many schools nowadays focus solely on testing. I focus on teaching your child so that they will feel more confident about themselves and their abilities.
All children are unique. Not all learn the same. I model my teaching so that your child can learn from ne. If your child can learn to read, their future will be so much brighter!
