About Jack
I studied History at Durham, Economic and Social History at Oxford, and GDL at The City Law School, University of London. I’ve also worked as a paralegal at a multinational law firm and as an English teacher in Taiwan. I know what the best universities are looking for - and what I’d do differently if I were applying now! I’ve been lucky enough to learn from world-class tutors who weren’t just brilliant because they were smart. More importantly, they cared - about their students, their subject, and helping people grow academically. The jump to university - whether from school or adult employment - is challenging for everyone. It can also be one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever experience. I believe in helping as many people as possible to take it with total confidence.

You’ll get results the way you get them best, and demonstrate your personal strengths in a way interviewers and examiners will notice straight away. - I’ll help you express what matters to you. I’ll make sure your work shows what you love about the subject, how you feel about the materials, and why you deserve to study it further. We’ll use real Oxbridge-style tutorial discussions to explore the topics in a fun and intelligent way, so you’ll know what to expect and how to show you care about the topic.
