About Katie
I am an education student at Manchester Metropolitan University. I achieved 11 GCSEs (8 at A grade) and a triple D* in Health and Social Care. I am currently teaching in primary schools, but I have experience supporting and tutoring students in secondary school.

I aim to have a student centered approach when it comes to teaching. This means that I will see how my students learn and what they need to lean and I plan my lessons using this information. I aim to use a variety of engaging and fun activities to ensure that my students are learning to the best of their abilities. Learning should be fun, as well as enlightening!

I was really struggling at science GCSE, but Katie was recommended to me by my mum, who knew Katie was offering tutoring! She made every session I had with her fun and interesting and she made sure the sessions were planned to go over the areas I was struggling with. She is a kind and understanding teacher and thanks to her I came out with a C at GCSE when I was expected an E!
