About Joseph
I'm Joseph, I am an undergraduate at the University of Birmingham studying Physical Geography and Geology! I finished sixth form in the Summer of 2022 achieving an A in all 3 of Mathematics, Geography and Economics. I want to be a tutor as I found that there are certain topics that can be found very challenging and additional support is needed in. As a recent student I believe that sometimes that support is needed and can be the difference between grades which are ultimately the thing that matters.

The GCSE mathematics lessons I offer will be around 1 hour in length although longer or shorter lessons can be arranged and I am flexible with the days of tutoring. As previously mentioned I am able to do any exam board if I am given enough notice. These sessions will comprise of examples and then helping the student through questions I set them which will consist of exam questions and easier style questions which still test the core ideas of the lesson. Ideally before the start of a session the student would provide me with what they find challenging so I can focus sessions on that and make the lessons 'tailor-made' to the student. Although having no past tutoring experience having recently achieved an A in A level maths I believe that my experience as a student allows me to give relevant help, especially when it comes to exams and tests, which at the end of the day decide the grade you achieve.
