About Hameem
I’m an Economics undergraduate at the University of Leeds, with experience tutoring both in schools and privately. I didn’t follow a traditional path; I retook my A-levels and developed a deeper understanding of how students learn differently. That experience taught me resilience and the value of tailored support, which I now bring into my tutoring. I know what it’s like to struggle with a subject, and I use that insight to adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs. Whether it’s building confidence, mastering exam technique, or understanding tough topics, I’m here to help students reach their potential with patience, encouragement, and a method that works for them.

I take a student-led approach, adapting each session to individual needs while ensuring key economic concepts are clearly understood and applied. I use visual aids, real-life examples, and exam-style questions to build confidence and deepen understanding. Lessons last 60 minutes and are structured to balance explanation, discussion, and active problem-solving. I’ve tutored both in school and privately, and I’m currently studying Economics at the University of Leeds. I work with GCSE and A-Level students aged 14–18, whether they're aiming for top grades or simply need extra support.
