About Andrew
I am an LSE BSc Economics undergraduate with a passion for both economics and maths. I have consistently performed strongly in academic contexts, but there is more to me than that; I have achieved a 1st dan black belt in Shotokan Karate, I play chess at an upper intermediate level, and I enjoy going hiking. I achieved grades A*AAB at A level, including a grade A* in maths. I am also learning Python, and I am a subcommittee member of the LSE Students' Union Cafe Society.

I focus on developing the understanding behind concepts rather than 'brute-forcing' formulae into the students' brains, giving students the foundations they need to tackle any problem, regardless of how similar it is to past paper and textbook questions. My lessons are predominantly for years 9 to 11, though I am willing to tutor anyone between year 8 and year 13.
