About Jake
My interest in economics stems from a fascination with human behavior, markets, and the forces shaping societies. I pursued a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Applied Economics, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical analytical skills. Over 7 years, I have taught students at multiple levels, helping them grasp complex economic concepts, develop analytical reasoning, and succeed academically. I emphasize clarity, engagement, and real-world relevance in my teaching. Lessons incorporate examples, data interpretation, and guided problem-solving exercises, ensuring students not only understand concepts but also see their practical applications. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and discussion to deepen learning. Outside teaching, I stay informed on global economic trends, policy developments, and research in applied economics. Teaching economics is highly rewarding because I witness students build analytical skills, confidence, and an informed perspective, empowering them to understand and navigate complex economic realities.
