About Demi
My interest in economics developed when I first started learning about how financial systems influence the growth of societies and businesses. I became curious about how government policies, international trade, and market behavior affect economic stability and development. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and later complete a Master’s in Economics.
Over the past 7 years, I have taught economics to students who wanted to improve their understanding of both microeconomic and macroeconomic principles. Through my teaching experience, I realized that many learners find economics difficult when concepts are explained only through theoretical explanations. Because of this, I focus on connecting economic ideas with practical examples and current economic events.
My teaching approach encourages discussion, critical thinking, and careful analysis of economic topics. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring different economic perspectives. Helping learners understand how economic ideas influence both everyday decisions and global markets is one of the most meaningful aspects of my teaching work.

My economics lessons are designed to help students understand how economic systems operate and how financial decisions influence markets and societies. Economics studies how individuals, businesses, and governments make choices when resources are limited. In my lessons, I present these ideas in a clear and structured way so students can easily connect economic theory with real-world financial situations.
Lessons usually begin with the basic principles of economics such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and the relationship between supply and demand. These concepts help students understand why markets function the way they do and how prices are determined through interactions between buyers and sellers. Once these ideas are clearly understood, learners begin exploring consumer behavior, business competition, and different types of market structures.
As students progress further, lessons also include topics such as inflation, unemployment, national income, and government economic policies. Students learn how economists interpret data and analyze economic trends across industries and countries. My goal is to help learners develop strong analytical thinking so they can understand economic events and evaluate financial information with greater confidence.
