About Jhanvi
My interest in economics began with a desire to understand why societies function the way they do and how decisions shape outcomes on both personal and global levels. Over eight years of teaching, I’ve been able to share this perspective with students, helping them develop their own analytical abilities and confidence. Teaching economics allows me to combine clear explanation with real-world relevance, creating lessons that feel alive and meaningful. Watching students build understanding, independence, and academic pride brings me immense fulfillment. I teach with patience, structure, and adaptability. I understand that economics can feel abstract at times, so I tailor explanations to each student’s needs—whether they prefer visual diagrams, practical examples, or step-by-step reasoning. I value clarity, encouragement, and open communication, ensuring learners feel comfortable exploring challenging topics. My goal is to help students gain both academic strength and genuine appreciation for the subject. Outside of teaching, I stay actively engaged with economic news, research, and global developments. This helps me bring updated insights and fresh examples into lessons, making learning more relevant and enjoyable. For me, teaching economics is not just about explaining theories—it is about helping students approach the world with curiosity, confidence, and thoughtful understanding.

Economics becomes far more engaging when learners recognize how theories translate into real-life decisions, markets, and global events. My lessons are designed to create a calm, structured environment where students feel supported in exploring economic concepts thoughtfully. I focus on making ideas practical and relatable, helping learners connect supply, demand, incentives, and policy to everyday situations. Through clear explanations and guided discussions, students develop the confidence to analyze problems, interpret data, and understand the systems shaping the world around them.
Beginners explore foundational concepts such as opportunity cost, scarcity, markets, demand and supply, and basic macroeconomic indicators. Intermediate learners dive into elasticity, unemployment, inflation, government policy, and comparative analysis. Advanced students work on development economics, international trade, monetary and fiscal theory, and exam preparation suited to their curriculum. I use diagrams, case studies, structured reasoning, and real-world examples to support understanding. Lessons adjust to each learner’s pace, ensuring that progress feels meaningful and manageable.
Economics lessons aim to build not only academic skills but also critical thinking, curiosity, and confidence. Students learn to evaluate situations logically, interpret information accurately, and develop informed opinions. Many begin to see economics as a practical lens for understanding the world. My goal is to help learners feel empowered, thoughtful, and capable of engaging with complex ideas.
