About Max
Born and raised in France, I've recently graduated from the University of Durham where I studied Philosophy, Politics & Economics. I have previous experience teaching both French and mathematics, whether as a private tutor for 3 years whilst at high-school or as a volunteer with the association Jusoor. As a private tutor, I offered, on a fortnightly basis, one-on-one lessons to 5 students helping them revise for their GCSEs, improve durably their understanding of certain topics and review their homework.

I aim to adapt my approach to each student so that my classes are best tailored for them to meet their learning goals whilst having a great time doing it. I teach students of all levels - from beginners to high-school students and can even help undergraduates with their essays - but only do so in one-on-one classes as I truly believe that this is the most efficient way to progress, especially when it comes to linguistic or mathematical abilities. I always prepare the classes ahead, whether it be by planning the latter or by working on my students' homework, so that we can optimise our time together and focus mainly on making them understand and progress.
