About Matt
Hello!
From my experience I often find that new concepts taught in the classroom are presented in a manner that makes them seem very intimidating and scary.
I will aim to show that this is not the case!
I've found that by carefully explaining how to use these concepts to answer a few practice questions students quickly realise that the concept is far more do-able and simple than it first appears and that by working through practice questions you quickly spot the patterns in how to go about answering them.
I will happily spend as much time as you need on a given question or topic until you are confident that you fully understand both the concept and how to answer exam-style practice questions.
I often led study groups at university as I really enjoyed helping people to grasp concepts and found that the one of the best ways to learn was to teach!

I offer tutoring in Maths, Economics, and statistics for GCSEs and A-levels.
My teaching methodology focuses on working through practical examplee questions with the student to help them understand how to tackle, and solve, the sort of questions that they will likely face in an exam. By understanding how you answer a series of practical questions, you understand the patterns of steps you follow which enables you to solve many questions of a similar type.
Lessons typically last for 1 hour but I am very flexible there!
I Graduated top of my class with a first class honours BSc in Economics and have 2-years work experience as an Economist.
