About Shraavan
I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong background in Maths and Physics, eager to inspire students and help them excel in their studies. My love for teaching stems from my experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students and teaching Mathematics abroad. I aim to build confidence in students by simplifying challenging concepts and tailoring my lessons to suit individual needs. Seeing students grasp new ideas and achieve their academic goals is incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to help future learners reach their full potential.

My Tutoring Approach I aim to create a supportive and interactive environment where students feel confident tackling challenging concepts. My teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex ideas in Maths and Physics into manageable steps, using real-world examples to enhance understanding. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student, ensuring we focus on their areas of difficulty while reinforcing their strengths. Active problem-solving, engaging discussions, and regular feedback are key aspects of my approach. Typical Lesson Structure Each lesson lasts 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and concentration span. We start with a quick review of prior material, followed by a focused session on new topics, and conclude with problem-solving exercises or exam-style questions to consolidate learning. Qualifications and Experience I hold a BSc in Economics, which includes advanced mathematics, and have experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in Maths and Physics. I also taught Mathematics during my time as a teacher in Thailand, which honed my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. Who Lessons Are For I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14–18), whether they need help building foundational skills, improving grades, or excelling in exams.
