About Rhea
I have been passionate about Economics since observing how markets, policies, and human behavior interact to shape society. This led me to pursue a B.A. in International Economics, where I studied macro and microeconomic theory, development economics, and trade analysis. Over 9 years of teaching, I have refined a supportive and structured approach that emphasizes clarity, reasoning, and student engagement. I focus on explaining abstract concepts through relatable examples and practical applications. I adapt lessons to different learning styles, ensuring that students gain conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. Encouraging questions, discussion, and critical thinking is central to my teaching philosophy. Outside teaching, I follow global economic trends, research policy impacts, and explore case studies. Bringing real-world context into lessons keeps learning relevant and inspiring. Watching students develop analytical confidence and curiosity for economic systems motivates me to continually refine and improve my teaching.

Economics becomes more meaningful when learners understand both theory and real-world application. In my lessons, I guide students through microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, fiscal policy, trade systems, and behavioral economics using step-by-step explanations that emphasize reasoning and analysis. I help students see patterns in data, understand cause and effect in economies, and develop skills to critically evaluate policies and outcomes. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and structured to build both understanding and confidence.
I tailor lessons to student levels. Beginners explore foundational principles such as supply and demand, opportunity cost, and simple market models. Intermediate learners analyze pricing, elasticity, market equilibrium, and government intervention. Advanced students focus on international economics, policy critique, statistical evaluation, and scenario analysis. Throughout, I encourage analytical thinking, application of knowledge, and thoughtful questioning to reinforce comprehension.
Economics lessons help students develop structured reasoning, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of how societies function. Students often gain confidence in interpreting economic events and making informed decisions. My aim is to provide a solid foundation that empowers learners academically and practically in understanding the world around them.
