About Franziska
I'm Franziska, an Economics and International Relations student at the University of St Andrews. Having grown up in Austria before moving to the UK for boarding school at 16, German has been my first language for as long as I can remember, and I completed my International Baccalaureate with a grade 6 in German Literature, with 6 and 7 in my written papers.
I know firsthand what it takes to succeed in German exams from an English-language school system, because I've been through exactly that process myself. I combine solid grammar foundations with genuine conversational practice, so students build both the technical accuracy examiners look for and the confidence to actually use the language.
I've helped friends, family, and fellow students with German over the years, and I bring the same patience and attention to detail to every lesson. Whether you're just starting out or fine-tuning your technique ahead of a GCSE, A-Level, or IB exam, I'll tailor each session to exactly what you need.
