As a piano teacher with 7 years of experience, my approach is centered around fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of music. Here's how I go about it:
1. Teaching Techniques and Methods: I believe in a well-rounded approach that combines traditional and modern teaching techniques. I focus on fundamentals such as music theory, technique, sight-reading, and ear training. Additionally, I incorporate interactive multimedia resources to make learning engaging and fun.
2. Usual Class Structure: Each class typically begins with a warm-up and a review of previous lessons. We then move on to new concepts, practicing pieces, and discussing music theory. I encourage questions and discussion to ensure my students truly grasp the material. Homework assignments are given to reinforce learning between classes.
3. Special Features: What sets me apart as a teacher is my adaptability. I tailor my teaching style to the individual needs and goals of each student. Whether a student is a beginner or an advanced player, a child or an adult, my approach is flexible to accommodate their unique learning preferences.
