Early Years, Primary School and ESL specialist - English tutor with Rachel

I am Deputy Head at West Twyford Primary School and worked with Rachel Miyamoto for 5 years. I know her to be an exemplary teacher who expected and got the best from her pupils. She built positive relationships with parents and careers and proved to be a reflective and resourceful practioner reviewing and revising practise to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
She was an effective phase leader who led her team well and introduced new evidence based practices across the phase which led to improved outcomes for children.
I have no hesitation in recommending g Rachel for any teaching, tutoring or middle leadership role.

I wrote this reference from Japan. I used to be a student at Geos Iida school where was the famous language school in Japan at that time. I met her there. She is my first native English teacher. At that time my English level was beginner one. She taught me that studying English is so fun! I didn’t absent from school and took her lessons. After the lessons she always checked my diary that I wrote in English. She said that she loved reading my diary. I could have confidence because of her advices about the diary and her kind words to me. She is not only my former English teacher but also she is my friend. After she left Iida Geos, she went to Osaka and Kyoto as Geos English teacher. I went to Osaka and Kyoto for visiting her and I enjoyed time with her in English. I think all her students like her. Geos shutdown after that. My school life there was good memory. I am happy that I could meet her at Geos. After I quit Geos Iida, I studied abroad in Brisbane Australia for 1 year. Now my English level is intermediate and TOEC level is 630. I can say to you that she changed my life. My life is colorful now. I have now experience that I have taught elementary school kids English for 3 years and also worked for a product company as overseas contact person. You might think that my English is still not good but I can definitely tell you that she is wonderful English teacher!
