About Cody
I am a graduate from Richmond Early College Highschool, an early college highschool program in North Carolina. I have had a rather unfortunate life so I was unable to get my associates in engineering as planned. I had to drop out but graduated with 73/80 credits towards my degree and managed to receive my highschool diploma along with an associates in science that I so happened to have all the credits for. As one of the few people in a unique situation to be a graduating drop out or a drop out graduate, I intend on getting the remaining 7 credits for my associates in engineering before getting a bachelor's in computer science. Before getting my bachelor's degree and starting my future career as a software engineer I would love to tutor again as I very much enjoyed my job as a tutor. Never give up guys ;).

The methods I've used for teaching my clients math in the past is very much indicative of my own learning processes. I break down subjects as simply as possible, making sure to include everything necessary for understanding whatever mathematical process I am teaching while leaving out anything that will just add to the complexity. In my work I have always found it both fun and challenging to find the perfect middle ground between oversimplifying things to the point that a client doesn't fully understand it and explaining too much to where the client understands the full complexity of the math, leading to confusion. Regardless of the methods I use for teaching my math lessons though, I always remember the objective of each lesson is progressing my clients understanding of said subject regardless of how hopeless or impossible the task may seem, everyone deserves time and effort and a chance to receive their education in a stress free way .
