Selin is an exceptional keyboard/piano teacher who is extremely patient. She's very thorough in her teachings and tailors her approach based on your ability. Selin is very approachable and always gives extra time to those that need. In only a few lessons, I was able to take away really great learnings and practise on my own.

I have been taking lessons from Selin over the last year and I think she is a fantastic tutor. For me as an older learner, she strikes the perfect pace and balance between spoon-feeding and pushing me to achieve my capabilities. I feel like I learn something fundamental each lesson. Selin is great at listening and providing solutions to each issue I have. Sometimes they are quick fixes and sometimes they are recommendations for practices that are ultimately extremely helpful. Selin provides useful feedback and sets achievable yet challenging homework. She also goes beyond the set material to cater for my likes and dislikes in terms of content and learning. Selin has a great sense of fun and I look forward to our lessons; I can imagine she is fantastic at teaching children as well. I would heartily recommend Selin. Don't hesitate!

As a teacher Selin impresses me greatly, I’ve no idea how but she manages to bring structure and rhythm to her lessons which also feel like I’m in the playground of learning, simply having fun. It’s almost like I’m being tricked into learning whilst just having a good time!

Additionally she spends a considerable amount of time learning about myself, putting effort into designing what I should learn around the miss-mash of knowledge I’ve gathered, pulling it together to make the knowledge feel cohesive. This level of effort and detail into her lesson planning, lessons and myself is greatly appreciated and something I’ve not experienced with teachers in other courses.
