About Billi
With over 10 years of experience as a Guitar tutor, I specialise in teaching Guitar to college students in a clear and enjoyable way. I believe learning music should be inspiring and stress-free.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and flexible. I adapt my lessons based on each student’s learning style and musical interests. I focus on strong foundations and steady improvement.
I use innovative teaching methods such as song-based practice, technique-building exercises, and structured learning plans. Students improve chord accuracy, rhythm control, finger strength, and confidence by playing real songs. I also use backing tracks to improve timing.
Music theory is taught in a simple and practical way. I encourage creativity through improvisation and basic songwriting activities.
I strive to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment. My goal is to help college students enjoy playing the guitar and continue learning with confidence.

I teach Guitar with a focus on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I aim to help students develop their unique musical voice while mastering technical skills. Lessons include improvisation, composing original music, and exploring different genres to make learning engaging and personal.
Critical thinking is a key part of my approach. I guide students to analyse songs, understand chord progressions and scales, and solve musical challenges independently. This allows them to make confident musical decisions and become self-reliant musicians.
Accountability is essential. I help students set achievable goals, maintain regular practice, and track progress. Constructive feedback and encouragement motivate students to grow consistently.
In addition to Guitar, I teach music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance skills. Lessons are customised to suit each student’s pace, level, and interests, ensuring a productive and fun learning experience.
My goal is to mentor students into confident, creative musicians who can play, compose, and enjoy music for life.
