About Romy
I am a student in Journalism and Communication at the MHBO Academy in Utrecht. An important point of journalism is being able to write Dutch flawlessly. I have not always been able to do this and by teaching myself tricks, I have become better at it. I see the Dutch language as a big puzzle and that way I make it fun for myself.

I think it is important to work with students to the most optimal grade they can achieve. The point is that they may not know everything in detail, but they understand what the intention is and what they have learned to apply. That is why I think practicing is the best way to learn. We will work with the study books of the students themselves and with exercises from other sources. In this way we achieve the best result together!

Romy is een rustig en geduldig persoon. Ik ben extreem dyslectisch dus nederlands is een moeilijk vak voor mij geweest. Dankzij de uitleg van Romy heb ik mijn Nederlands terug weten te brengen tot een voldoende. Ze is gezellig en zeer geschikt als docent!! Jammer dat ik haar niet meer nodig heb.
