About Inga
I am currently studying Computer Science and Philosophy at Durham University with previous A Levels in maths, further maths, computer science and psychology, obtaining consistent A/A* throughout my studies. I also took maths, further maths and computer science at GCSE level and obtained a grade 9 in all. I am a friendly, outgoing character that can enable you to think critically to analyse a problem and come to a solution. I believe anyone can learn to love maths in some form or at least see the real life applications of it. My knowledge isn’t limited to the GCSE/A Level syllabus and can engage and stretch your knowledge and understanding beyond the curriculum. I have had a long term student over GCSEs and now into A Levels, that i have helped achieve a grade 8 in GCSE Maths. I have experience tutoring peers and younger students in a variety of subjects including maths, English and science. I also have experience working with younger children in a non-academic setting running art workshops and more which has enabled me to enthuse and engage children in activities and develop these skills.

Tutoring A Level and GCSE students in maths, further maths and computer science. I believe that being a recent student myself and also having dyslexia allows me to better understand different ways of learning, tailoring my teaching to the individual and approaching a problem from different angles. I have flexible weekday availability and full weekend availability. Session length is flexible and fully dependent on the way you learn, to stay motivated and ensure each session is constructive and focused.

Perfect! My son Sam has just had his first lesson with Inga which we feel went extremely well. Inga was confident, knowledgeable, patient and a good listener. These excellent communication skills helped her to build a good rapport with Sam which we hope will form the basis for a successful ongoing partnership to support him through his GCSE's and potentially A-Levels.

Details
My current rate is £15 an hour including preparation time which usually averages at £30 per hour session, however a fixed standard rate can be negotiated :)
