About Ann-Marie
I have been teaching for more than 18 years. I received a Master's in elementary education and immediately started teaching all four academic subjects in fourth grade. Once I went back to receive my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in reading, I transferred within my district to teach literacy at the middle school level. I have taught reading and literacy at the middle and high school level as well as half a year as an elementary reading specialist during Covid. Even though math is my favorite subject, I have taught sixth grade English language arts for the past three years.
