About Kyle
I am a rising senior in high school, actively involved in STEM-focused extracurriculars, including the math club and model rocketry. As a member of the National Honor Society, I take academic integrity and service seriously — both of which drive my passion for tutoring. I’ve completed a college-level Calculus AB course and earned a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam, while maintaining a consistent 4.0 unweighted GPA in all math and physics courses since freshman year. My academic path reflects a strong commitment to mastering complex topics and sharing that understanding with others. Tutoring is an extension of what I love most about learning: making tough concepts feel intuitive. Through NHS and an external tutoring program, I’ve helped students build confidence in SAT Math subjects such as geometry, trigonometry, and advanced algebra. My goal is to create a personalized and supportive environment where students feel comfortable pushing their limits and discovering their strengths.

My primary goal as a tutor is to help students feel confident and comfortable with challenging concepts through active learning. Each lesson begins with a brief introduction to a specific topic, establishing a strong foundation of core ideas. From there, I present problems tailored to the student’s current level, designed to reinforce understanding and push their capabilities without overwhelming them.
Students are encouraged to work through problems independently, while I offer targeted tips and strategies when needed. This approach promotes both critical thinking and genuine mastery.
I bring personal experience from both sides of tutoring. At my school, I’ve supported peers struggling with geometry and chemistry, and I’ve also tutored SAT math students through an external program. These lessons are geared toward high school students, including those preparing for standardized tests or seeking support in AP-level material. Learners of all backgrounds who want to deepen their understanding are welcome.
