About Teakshania
William Shakespeare once said:
“Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.”
I am a great team player that can interact well with my peers and superiors; I have good presentation and organizational skills and a resounding ability to work well under pressure. I am not shy to take the lead as I do love the challenge. I communicate well, have good presentation skills and deliver in tight deadlines. I give great dedication to any work. I am reliable and a hard worker. My strength comes from my mother who is politically involved in the struggle. I gained my essence of civil servant from her in my early years of childhood to the lady I am today. Involvement in the community and leadership speaks volumes.
I have been actively giving back to the community from five years old and my strength and passion evolved into the arts. I have seen the world through the eyes of the audience when I travelled around South Africa with EKMA PRODUCTIONS. I have done courses in modelling and was privileged to be a model in the Rothmans Durban July from 1997 to 2004. I have worked in a production company as a researcher in Cape Town and recently completed my Level Five Teaching English as a Foreign Language course. I love to surround myself with creative, positive, vibrant individuals with the capacity to love and learn.
I have had the privilege of seeing my pay ’(concealed information)’ being performed in the Grahamstown Festival in 2012 that was also the year I made my debut in Directing ‘Sizwe Banzi is dead’ and in 2015. I directed ‘All the girls in their Sunday dresses.’ Those were the highlights of my career thus far.

I base my classes on individual students. I will make sure that you will be well taught on Stanislavsky, Meisner, Brecht. Writing Styles. Directing tips and understanding. the ideal candidate must be willing to put in time as well as identity the key elements that they themselves want to focus on.
