About Ruby Blue
Having spent many years rehearsing and sitting the LAMDA examinations myself, I can understand what a rollercoaster the experience can be!
Acting, public speaking and drama can be one of the most fun things in the world but that doesn't mean it isn't also terrifying at times. My lessons aim to be entertaining, educational but also a safe space for a student to be who they want to be.
I think communication is key. I begin each session with a check in of where the student is that particular day, how they are feeling and what they want to achieve during the lesson. That way, not only will the student feel like they have input into what they're learning, it also means the session is fun for all involved!

My lessons begin at the basics, (re)visiting voice and physical exercises to awaken and train students. We will then build upon this, tailoring each session to the individual and the specific LAMDA exam they are taking.
My lessons aim to be fun, educational and a safe space to discover the joys of acting, public speaking and LAMDA.
I have a degree in Drama from Exeter University and further training from Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company. Following graduation I have taught sessions to children between the ages of 10 and 16.
Sessions tend to be between 1 to 2 hours depending on the specific needs
