About Susan
I've been a guitar professor at a private, liberal arts college, a guitar studio owner, a concert presenter, an Artistic Director and pre-college and youth coach in guitar. Most students now have successful musical and teaching careers of their own.

My classes are informal, fun and structured around the needs and aspirations of the student. Reading is stressed, but we use tab and chord charts, as well. As fingerstyle guitar playing is so popular we learn all the ways this music is created from Andrew York to Andy McKee.
