About Alessandro

I love playing chess, football (I'm European, hence I mean soccer :) and surfing. I am a huge traveler and have a passion for languages and different cultures of the world. Studying in a British international school in Rome, I've always been inclined towards the Classics such as Latin and Ancient Greek, which I tutor for literature and translation. I've participated in two archaeological excavations, taught after-school debate club, Model United Nations, at Ambrit International School of Rome. I tutor in: - English and Italian - writing, reading, speaking (ALL LEVELS) - Biology - lab reports and theory (ELEMENTARY - HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL) - Latin and Ancient Greek - reading, translating, literature (ALL LEVELS)

About the lesson

I love helping people understand the dynamics of a language, especially when studying one like Latin and Ancient Greek. It requires patience, therefore I'm very patient with my students and enjoy helping them achieve their goal, step by step. I'm very good at reading strategies and maximizing comprehension, writing and organizing an essay, both in English and Italian, which I can also simply teach its proficiency. My lessons can range from a third-grader to a senior in high school who needs help with his college essay. My method is very natural and we tackle work in a very realistic manner, also because it's important for me to level with the student as I am a student at NYU, and love also talking to them.
