About Francis
I'm a master's student in world history and am interested in a wide range of areas. My interest in history developed relatively late, mainly during the A-level which really opens up the ability to explore a topic. I'm interested in tutoring to engage in new areas and support younger students to enjoy history and develop their understanding of it.

My approach to tutoring is largely based on my experience of the tutorial system at Cambridge. I think history is best approached through a student's written work. I would suggest starting with an essay, perhaps written in class. We can address stylistic and content questions from there, as well as any wider concerns they might have. Going forward we can continue to address weaknesses and I can set specific work to tackle these.
