About Audrey
Hello, I'm Audrey Zannese, a certified Sophrologist from Toulouse, France and based in Leeds, UK.
My journey with sophrology began when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) during my PhD. Suddenly, I found myself overwhelmed by anxiety and fear about my future.
It's when I started the treatment that a neurologist in France recommended sophrology to me. Being French, I knew of sophrology as it's as well known as mindfulness in the UK. But being a scientist by training, I was quite close-minded and sceptical about such mind-body practices. I was more into conventional medicine than holistic therapies.
Yet, I felt so out of control that I decided to give it a try. That decision transformed my life. Sophrology helped me straight away to reduce my stress levels and regulate my internal state. It helped modulate side effects of the treatment and avoid relapses. Within a few weeks of regular practice, I found myself feeling happy and confident in a way I never experienced before.
This practice not only helped me manage my own health challenges but inspired me to help others on their healing journey.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE helping people struggling with exhaustion, pain, and excessive worry to feel back in control and THRIVE.

"I was recommended to Audrey by a relative who had attended one of Audrey’s seminal as they thought it might help me deal with my chronic pain. Audrey, in less than three weeks has given me invaluable tools to help me cope with my pain, experience less tension and anxiety and aid in sleeping better. I really like her calmness and sympathetic listening ears. She’s very good at explains every step in the process and gives me ownership of how best to utilise all the techniques she teaches. She makes sure that am comfortable and gives options. I feel safe and heard and more importantly, feel in complete control of my pain for the first time in a very long time. I am slowly building back my resilience."
"From the start to finish of every Sophrology session I have found Audrey has a great gift for understanding the energy levels of her clients and finding the most beneficial ways to support you. Audrey combines her expert knowledge and guidance during sessions with practical exercises to take with you into daily living. Audrey is empowering and empathic!"
