About Dominic
Having graduated from the University of Cambridge, where I received a 1st class degree in Law. This has equipped me with strong analytical and problem-solving skills that I can effectively impart to my students.
My background before Law, was maths and further mathematics dominant. I have previously mentored students during my sixth form where I realised that I had an aptitude for explaining complex subjects simply and effectively. This provided me with the confidence to privately tutor students individually and in class situations on maths studies of all age ranges.
Outside of maths, I'm also a passionate musician with extensive experience in both studio and live performance settings. This has honed my creativity, communication, and adaptability - qualities that make me both engaging and relatable.

My primary goal is to provide an enjoyable and encouraging environment for my students to develop confidence (and hopefully also interest) in the subject.
In the first lesson, I'll aim to gauge the strengths and weaknesses of the student. This is a crucial as it enables me to adapt how I teach to fit individual learning styles and abilities.
In further lessons, I'll focus on a particular topic which the student could improve upon. I like to do this in an interactive way, frequently asking questions, encouraging curiosity and helping guide the student rather than just leading them directly to all the answers.
For online lessons, I have a iPad and Apple Pencil which allows students to see my handwriting in real-time.
