About Chelse
Hi! I’m Chelse, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for healthcare, education, and helping others succeed. I have experience in primary care, behavioral health, and advanced nursing practice, and I especially enjoy mentoring nurse practitioner students and helping them navigate the challenges of nursing school. I believe learning should be supportive, approachable, and tailored to each student’s needs. I understand how overwhelming nursing and NP programs can be, and I want to help make difficult concepts easier to understand while building confidence and clinical reasoning skills. My goal is to create a judgment-free learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and developing the skills they need to succeed both in school and in their future careers. Outside of work, I value spending time with family, continuing to learn, and finding ways to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience in primary care, behavioral health, and nursing practice. I am passionate about helping nursing and nurse practitioner students build confidence, strengthen clinical reasoning, and succeed academically and professionally. Through my experience mentoring nurse practitioner students and supporting clinical education, I have developed a strong appreciation for meeting students where they are and adapting my teaching approach to their individual learning needs. I can provide tutoring in nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, pathophysiology, health assessment, primary care, clinical decision-making, and advanced practice nursing concepts. My goal is to make challenging material easier to understand by connecting classroom concepts to real-world clinical experiences, encouraging critical thinking, and helping students develop the knowledge and confidence needed to become safe, competent, and compassionate healthcare providers.
