About Tetiana
I am an experienced tutor in physics and math with a strong background in nuclear physics, high-energy physics, and thermal and nuclear power plants. I hold a Doctor of Engineering Sciences degree from the Institute for Nuclear Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, along with a Ph.D. and M.A. in related fields. I have worked extensively in research, teaching, and tutoring roles, allowing me to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my students.
Throughout my teaching career, I have developed a comprehensive teaching methodology that focuses on building a solid foundation of fundamental principles and problem-solving skills. I believe in creating an interactive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and apply their knowledge to real-world situations. I employ a variety of teaching techniques, including clear explanations, visual aids, practical examples, and guided problem-solving sessions.
My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student, whether they are high school students, undergraduate students, or individuals preparing for exams or standardized tests. I can adapt my teaching style and level of detail to match the student's proficiency and comfort level with the subject matter. I can also provide additional practice materials and exam preparation strategies to help students succeed.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive research experience in the field of nuclear physics and radiation technologies. This background enables me to provide unique insights and practical applications of the concepts being taught. Furthermore, my experience as a primary school tutor and my training in primary education make me well-equipped to work with younger students and ensure their understanding and engagement.
In addition to my academic qualifications, I have received numerous awards, grants, and scholarships for my research work and contributions to the field. I am also proficient in several programming languages and software, which allows me to integrate technology and computational methods into my teaching when relevant.
Overall, my goal as a tutor is to inspire a love for physics and math, instill strong problem-solving skills, and help students reach their academic goals. I am dedicated to providing personalized attention and support to each student, ensuring their success in mastering these challenging subjects.

As a tutor in physics and math, my approach is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that caters to the specific needs and goals of each student. I strive to make complex concepts more accessible by breaking them down into smaller, manageable parts and providing real-world examples and applications. My teaching methodology focuses on building a strong foundation of fundamental principles and problem-solving skills, as these are essential for success in physics and math.
Here is an outline of a typical lesson plan:
Assessment and Goal Setting: I begin by assessing the student's current knowledge and understanding of the topic. I discuss their goals and expectations, as well as any specific areas they would like to focus on.
Concept Introduction: I introduce the key concepts of the lesson using clear explanations, visual aids, and interactive discussions. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process.
Examples and Problem Solving: I provide worked examples that demonstrate the application of the concepts in different scenarios. I guide students through the problem-solving process, emphasizing critical thinking and analytical skills.
Practice Exercises: I assign practice exercises that gradually increase in difficulty to reinforce the learned concepts. I encourage students to attempt the problems independently, and I am available to provide assistance and feedback as needed.
Review and Recap: At the end of each lesson, I review the main points covered and summarize the key takeaways. I address any remaining questions or areas of confusion before concluding the session.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt to each student's learning style and pace. I strive to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussions. I also emphasize the practical applications of physics and math, helping students see the relevance and real-world implications of what they are learning.
My lessons are suitable for all students. Additionally, I can cater my lessons to specific needs or specificities, such as focusing on exam preparation, clarifying challenging concepts, or providing additional practice materials. I can also adjust my teaching style and level of detail based on the student's prior knowledge and comfort level with the subject matter.
Overall, my goal as a tutor is to foster a deep understanding and appreciation for physics and math while empowering students to become confident problem solvers in these disciplines.
