About Selene
I have spent sixteen distinguished years preparing more than 700 students for success in advanced mathematics examinations and university admissions. My academic credentials include a master's degree in mathematics and extensive experience as an examination marker and curriculum developer for international mathematics programmes. I have taught in international schools examination preparation centres and private tutoring settings across multiple countries giving me deep knowledge of different educational systems and assessment standards. My students have gained admission to top universities worldwide and many have achieved perfect scores in AP and IB examinations. I am known for my systematic approach my examination expertise and my ability to help students perform under pressure. I maintain comprehensive archives of past papers mark schemes and custom-written practice materials. Outside of teaching I participate in curriculum development conferences contribute to mathematics education publications and enjoy travelling to explore mathematical history in different cultures. I believe that international mathematics education opens doors to global opportunities and I am committed to helping every student achieve their highest potential.

My mathematics teaching is distinguished by its comprehensive coverage of international curricula and its track record of preparing students for the world's most demanding examinations. I have extensive expertise in Advanced Placement Calculus and Statistics International Baccalaureate Mathematics at all levels and A-level Further Mathematics. For AP calculus I teach limits derivatives integrals and series with emphasis on both conceptual understanding and computational fluency. IB mathematics is taught with attention to the exploration component mathematical modelling and the integration of technology. Further mathematics is taught with the rigour required for elite university admission including complex numbers matrices differential equations and advanced mechanics. I emphasise examination technique teaching students to manage time recognise question types and present solutions that maximise marks. My lessons are highly structured with clear objectives systematic content coverage and extensive practice with past examination questions. I also teach the underlying mathematical thinking that supports long-term success including logical reasoning pattern recognition and the ability to transfer knowledge to unfamiliar contexts. For students seeking enrichment I offer preparation for mathematics competitions and university admissions tests.
