About Paul
My name is Paul. I have previously worked as a WRITING, Math & Physics Tutor (4+ years experience) with the NASA Scholars Program in Los Angeles, tutoring College and High School students (+test prep; SAT, GED, ASVAB, ACT, CSET, GMAT, MCAT, GRE). I have assisted Undergraduate (UCLA, USC, SMC, LMU, CSUN, Cal State LB, Lafayette University, Brown University, Harvard, UT, Vanderbilt, UC-Berkeley and others) and Graduate (MBA to PhD) students (5+ years experience) in WRITING, RESEARCH ANALYSIS for dissertations (+dissertation writing +consulting data analysis for organizations).
I have strong backgrounds in Math & Architecture. I completed 2 and 1/2 years of Architecture at the Los Angeles Institute of Architecture and Design in Fall 2004. In Spring 2004 I was the recipient of a student competition award from the American Institute of Architects at the A&D Museum in West Hollywood. I am enrolled at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona-CAL POLY- to complete Majors Architecture and MATH; and received the Don Leiffer award for excellence in Math at West LA College (spring 2005).
My professional architecture internships (TFA, K-RML, AJLA) Sports background and interactions with my nephews and nieces allowed me to use visual and Verbal cues in lessons.

We work together with the student to develop a comprehensive review plan based on content, difficulty, and time frame. We then break down the material into small pieces emphasizing conceptual understanding and writing outlines focusing on the chapter topics, problem statements, purpose of the study, literature sources, and research methodologies. This methodology has helped undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students succeed in their writing projects, thesis, and dissertations capturing the essence of their topics supported by different sections. For PhD. students, this has included the intro, lit review, and methods section invoking statistical research. I have helped multiple students succeed in their PhD in Psychology, Sociology, Urban Planning, Economics, Business, Education, Political Science, Public Policy, Medicine, etc.
