About Macy
With 10 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping high school and college students find their unique voices through singing. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching around 250 students, each one bringing a new opportunity to inspire and guide them. My goal is not just to teach vocal techniques, but to instill confidence and passion in every student. I focus on creating a supportive and fun learning environment where students feel empowered to reach their fullest potential. Throughout my career, I have helped students perform in school concerts, regional competitions, and even assisted them in preparing for college auditions. Seeing my students succeed and grow both as singers and individuals is the most rewarding part of my job. I continuously strive to improve my own skills as an educator, always finding new ways to connect with students and help them achieve their musical goals. Singing is more than just a skill—it's an expression of who we are, and I love guiding students on their personal journey to discovering their voice.

My teaching methodology for singing is built around flexibility and collaboration, ensuring each lesson is tailored to the student's unique voice and learning style. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their vocal abilities. I use real-life examples and case studies of famous singers and their techniques to inspire students and provide practical insights into different singing styles. Integrity is at the core of my approach; I always aim to build trust and open communication with my students, ensuring they feel respected and confident in their progress. Creativity plays a vital role in my lessons, encouraging students to experiment with their voice, try new genres, and express themselves freely. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced singer, my lessons are designed to help you grow at your own pace, focusing on improving vocal technique, control, and performance. Alongside singing, I can also teach related subjects like music theory, ear training, and vocal health, providing a well-rounded musical education. My goal is to nurture a student's passion for singing while helping them achieve their fullest vocal potential.
