I had the opportunity to attend regular lessons with Andrea in preparation for the Mathematics Olympiad and the entrance exam for the Scuola Normale Superiore, both of which I performed excellently in.

He also stands out for his teaching and human qualities. Not only were our meetings distinguished by the quality of the content of our lessons, but also by how simply he explained advanced concepts that I could easily understand. Andrea certainly pays a lot of attention to creating a structured growth path for his students, rather than just “individual lessons”. For example, at the beginning of our lessons, he gave me some questions taken from Olympic exercises or Math Stack Exchange to solve. He then used my answers to assess my level and aptitude. We then met to set a lesson plan, which we did not rigidly adhere to, but rather modified dynamically as we went along based on my needs. He demonstrated considerable competence and aptitude in quality teaching, tailoring the level of content and teaching methods to the target audience. For this reason, I fully support his future teaching activities and hope they will be numerous!
