Hi, I'm Amrita, a working professional from India, now living in London after attending Imperial College London. My passion for cooking and eating authentic Indian food, from regular basic vegetables to paneer, has inspired me to share the magic of Indian cuisine with you. My personal specialities include butter chicken and kadhai chicken, recipes passed down from my grandmother. I am on a mission to teach Indian cooking because I believe it is a hidden gem that needs to be shared with the world. I'm a strong believer that most UK restaurants do not serve authentic Indian food. I want you to experience the richness and authenticity of my mum's and grandmother's recipes. Moreover, I want to dispel the myth that Indian cooking requires too much effort and too many ingredients. Sometimes, it's fairly simple and can be made with replaceable ingredients. My passion for cooking changed my life, and I want to empower cooking enthusiasts like you to change yours. Since coming to London two years ago, I found myself yearning for homemade Indian food, but I couldn't find the flavours I missed. So, I embarked on a journey to recreate the authentic taste of home, learning extensively from my mother. Cooking and eating authentic Indian food is my passion. I am committed to sharing this passion with others. My lessons aren't just about complicated recipes; they focus on simple flavours that can be cooked from anywhere in the world. I want to introduce people to the simple cooking I do at home. My approach is to understand exactly what you want to learn and create a short plan tailored to your needs. I will provide you with a list of ingredients and explain the preparation process. Then, I will guide you through the cooking process, ensuring you understand how to achieve the desired results.
