About Praseetha
I’m Praseetha, and I’ve been learning Carnatic music for over 10 years. Throughout my journey, I’ve actively participated in and won prizes at various inter-school and college-level music competitions. Teaching is a way for me to stay connected with the art form I love while sharing my knowledge with enthusiastic learners. I aim to create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment - especially for total beginners - so they can build a strong foundation in Carnatic music and enjoy the learning process.

This class introduces absolute beginners to Carnatic classical music through simple lessons in swaras (notes), basic exercises like Sarali Varisais, rhythm (tala), and voice training. No prior knowledge needed—just interest and a willingness to learn! A perfect introduction to South Indian classical music for students of any age or background.
