About Savannah
Sometimes I admit that my classroom feels more like a music festival than a traditional school environment. Growing up in Madrid has shaped how I view the language as a living, breathing entity rather than a set of rules. I hold an MA in Spanish from Massachusetts Amherst and have spent 8 years helping students navigate the complexities of both Latin American and Castilian variants. My approach works well for teens and adults who want to move past dry textbooks.
Whether you are prepping for the DELE exam or planning a trip to a Barcelona market, we focus on the cultural context that makes communication meaningful. I balance accent work with real-world dialogue practice to build your confidence. I have seen beginners go from their first hola to holding long conversations.
Heritage learners often join me to polish their skills for AP exams. I enjoy watching the moment when the rhythm of a song finally clicks for a learner. It is simply about communicating.
