About Ebony
Playing on stage and in the studio for 9 years has taught me that music is a craft to be practiced rather than a theory to be memorized. My MMus from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music gives me the tools to fix your technique, but I prefer to focus on the grit of barre chords and power chords. Many students start with me after struggling to bridge the gap between simple chords and playing fluently. I find that most players eventually realize that the secret to progress is keeping it simple, consistent, and honest throughout the week.

We will focus on grade exam prep, essential maintenance, and technical skills like improvisation and soloing. Keeping the focus on musicality makes the work rewarding. Tuning your guitar properly and hitting the right notes correctly makes the hard work feel like playing music instead of a chore."
