About Charlotte
Sometimes it feels like you are speaking a completely different language even when you know the words. We start by looking at travel Spanish and common phrases to build immediate momentum. Grammar, pronunciation, and DELE exam preparation follow as your confidence increases.
I draw on my 13 years of teaching to ensure we avoid the dry, repetitive exercises that stall progress. My lessons are conversational and rely on the authentic cadence of my native Bogotá accent.
We can tackle professional interview scenarios or casual dialogue practice depending on your goals. Everything is designed to make the language feel like a natural extension of your personality. Intermediate learners often assume that grammar rules are the only way to fluency. My background as a native speaker from Bogotá with a Diploma of Music teaches me that language exists in the rhythm of conversation. I incorporate role play, interview preparation, and business Spanish to keep the context practical for all my students. Having taught 381 students, I know that accent and intonation are just as vital as reading comprehension.
My years of performing Latin music in Australia help me explain why language and culture cannot be separated. I am ready to guide you toward fluency.
