About Ara
I am a young, passionate musician and teacher, and play in orchestras and productions in Sydney on a freelance basis. I have successfully guided students through examinations but also focus on developing their musicality and sense of confidence in their art. I possess Associate and Licentiate diplomas in Classical Flute performance.

Students can play recreationally or do exams with either the Australian Music Education Board (AMEB) or the Australian Guild of Music and Speech (AGMS) for all levels of practical and theory. I aim to encourage my students to challenge themselves and focus strongly on technical elements of performance and musicology. However, I also strongly believe in the importance of letting students work at their own pace, and of keeping lesson plans flexible so I can cater to their needs and interests.
