About Alyssa
Teaching singing allows me to share the joy of music while guiding students through complex vocal mechanics. Honestly, I find that watching a student finally nail a difficult passage is the best part of my day. I have spent 13 years honing this craft since earning my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies from the University of Auckland.
My approach centers on stage fear management, tone and resonance, and warm-up exercises. I also emphasize exam preparation, harmony singing, and pitch control to ensure students feel prepared. It remains a genuine privilege to watch people connect with music they truly care about.

Pacing remains critical to the success of my vocal instruction. Sound clarity starts with steady technique.
I integrate my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies background into every interaction to ensure physical health and musicality. We will tackle specific skills like breath support and vowel placement during our time together.
My method involves providing homework vocal drills assigned after every session to maintain momentum throughout the week. You will receive 6.0 minutes of extra focus on your most challenging musical hurdles. You will walk away from this instruction feeling confident in your sound.
