About Violet
I teach guitar with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance. My lessons are personalised for beginners, advanced students, and those pursuing authentic blues mastery. I specialise in slide guitar techniques, open tunings, and fingerpicking blues styles. Students study multiple blues traditions, including Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont. My teaching style is motivating, patient, and designed to foster expressive performance. I combine technical exercises, improvisation, and musical interpretation. Lessons emphasise groove, timing, and emotional storytelling through music. Digital tools support practice, recording, and progress tracking. Students develop confidence, technical skill, and a unique musical voice. Each session is interactive, practical, and creatively inspiring. I focus on connecting students to the cultural and emotional depth of the blues. Learning is both rewarding and enjoyable. I teach guitar focusing on songwriting, lyrical development, and arranging acoustic music. Lessons cover chord progressions, melody writing, and musical storytelling. My approach combines structure and creativity to help students craft original songs. The Blues Seeker and The Aspiring Rock Star are guided to translate inspiration into finished compositions. Each session includes exercises on harmony, rhythm, and phrasing. Students practise performing and arranging their own music. I emphasise both technical skill and expressive freedom. Lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to individual creativity. I help learners refine lyrics, chord choices, and arrangements for maximum musical impact.
