I am a dental student attending the University of Toronto with a strong background in sciences, DAT, and OAT. I employ an easy-to-understand and visual method of teaching in order to allow students to fully understand lessons. When teaching math, I emphasize learning through experience: getting exposed to a wide variety of common problems so that students will be equipped with the skills they need to solve them later on. I issue practice problems from several reputable textbooks and other sources like math contests; I recognize that practice is the key to success. Furthermore, I employ a highly individualized teaching methodology. I first try to understand the student's strengths and weaknesses, and then use targeted lessons to help them overcome their biggest obstacles.
