About Marysia
I am a university student who has recently gone through the education system and have successfully tackled challenges that have come up throughout, and now want to share ways of succeeding with other students. I believe the majority of dislikes towards subjects come from teaching that isn't tailored to each individual student and wish to allow students to reach a level at which they comprehend and enjoy the content.

The first, free session will assess the student's level of understanding to tailor future lessons to their needs. It is important to gauge how the student approaches learning so they will initially be asked to walk through a problem using their method, then followed by a detailed explanation from me. Lessons will last up to an hour. I worked as a maths higher-level teaching assistant at a secondary school for 6 months and held online tutor sessions for peers throughout the university term. Leading up to my GCSEs I benefitted from having a tutor and saw the most benefits from starting as soon as possible, thus am happy to assist students from year 9 onwards, as well as years 7 and 8 who may feel they are lacking confidence in their maths.
