I am a newly graduated dentist currently in my community service year in Bloemfontein. I have always had a great love for teaching and the impact I can have on others by helping them develop. In my spare time I like to teach, read, and play piano and guitar.

I offer personalized 1-on-1 lessons to students in maths and physics. I aim to guide you to understand the subjects rather than just learning parrot-fashion, thereby allowing you to achieve long term retention of the information as well as increased problem solving skills.
I am able to teach both modules in English, as well as in Afrikaans.
The lesson structure will vary depending on the individual needs of the student, and we can make it focus on a limited number of modules or be more broad in order to do revision prior to tests and exams.

Ceejay explains concepts better than my teachers do. He is very patient with me when I dont understand concepts and tries to explain them again in new ways. He is very enthusiastic about the work and pushes me to do my best.
Ceejay takes pride in his work. He is always on time for lessons and goes the extra mile. He makes detailed notes which make learning more easy.
Ceejay took my son for a few revision lessons prior to the start of the academic year. It showed him which areas he can work on and it helped him score higher in his first class test. My son looks forward to his lessons now and appreciates the encouragement and support Ceejay offers.
Ceejay taught me physics in 2023. He helped me gain confidence when I answered tests and taught me an approach to make studying more simple and fun. I gained 24% with him and would highly recommend him as a tutor.
