About Sumayyah
I am a dedicated Dental Medicine student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students reach their full potential. My studies have given me an in-depth understanding of Biology, Chemistry, Science and Mathematics, allowing me to confidently support students with their learning and explain complex topics in a simple, structured and engaging way.
Having experienced the demands of academic study myself, I understand that every student learns differently. I tailor my lessons to suit each student’s individual needs, focusing on building a strong foundation of knowledge, improving confidence and developing effective study techniques that can be applied independently.
I have previous experience providing one-to-one tutoring, supporting students across different age groups and abilities. I use a patient and encouraging approach, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of their learning journey. My goal is not only to help students achieve better results, but also to help them develop a genuine understanding and enjoyment of the subjects they are studying.
My teaching style combines clear explanations, interactive discussions, practice questions, exam preparation and regular feedback to help students make steady progress. I am committed to creating a positive and professional online learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and confident in their abilities.
I offer online tuition for KS1, KS2 and KS3 Mathematics, as well as KS3 and GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Science. Whether a student needs support with understanding new concepts, improving their grades, preparing for exams or building confidence in a subject, I provide personalised lessons designed around their goals and learning style.

My approach to tutoring focuses on creating engaging, personalised lessons that are tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning style and academic goals. As a Dental Medicine student, I have developed an exceptional understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Science, as well as Mathematics, allowing me to break down complex topics into clear and easy-to-understand explanations.
I use a variety of teaching techniques, including step-by-step explanations, visual aids, practice questions, active recall and exam-style questions to help students build confidence and improve their understanding. I focus on identifying areas of difficulty and adapting my teaching methods to ensure students are able to grasp concepts effectively.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, providing enough time to introduce new concepts, practise skills and review previous learning. I have previous experience providing one-to-one tutoring and supporting students academically, helping them improve their confidence and develop effective study techniques.
My lessons are suitable for students from KS1, KS2 and KS3 for Mathematics, and KS3 and GCSE students for Biology, Chemistry and Science. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace.
