I approach teaching in a concept-oriented fashion. I help students to understand underlying principles and themes that will carry them through multiple subjects rather than simply memorizing facts or equations that are easily forgotten.
A typical lesson plan will incorporate the student's strengths and weaknesses to identify areas that will produce the highest ROI and that will maximize their class performance.
I am available to teach high school students 10th-12th grades and college or graduate students of any age. I mainly teach chemistry, mathematics, and SAT prep although I have experience tutoring in a wide range of sciences including biology and physics.
